MARTE JOHNSLIEN
Forloren Form
2017, Vigeland Museum, Oslo
Clay, plaster, steel and ceramics
For the Sculpture Biennial, 2017, Marte Johnslien created an installation based on Gustav Vigeland’s sculpture technique called lost form/forloren form. The two materials plaster and steel have a destructive influence on each other, and this installation is an investigation of these processes. The installation was presented on Gustav Vigeland’s own sculpture stands in the Vigeland Museum.
